How to watch videos in full screen mode on YouTube?

Step 1: Go to the video that you want to watch and click on the gear icon at top right-hand corner of the video.

Step 2: From the options, select full screen option.

How to make a video full screen on YouTube?

Step 1: First, click on the gear icon at top right-hand corner of the video.

Step 2: You will see an option named Make full screen option in drop-down menu. Click it.

Full screen mode allows you to view the picture in a large, uncluttered window that fills your entire monitor. If a picture is not in full screen mode, it will appear in a separate window.

To enable full screen mode:

Click on the bar at the top of the screen (pictured below) and then click on Full Screen Mode.

Click on Full Screen Mode again to close full screen mode

Most desktop video players support full screen mode. However, depending on what operating system you're using, there are a few exceptions.

Windows Media Player

Windows Media Player doesn't support full screen mode. The player will only show the video in a window and not resize it to the entire screen.

VLC Media Player

VLC doesn't support full screen mode either, but it does have a workaround that allows you to make the video fill your entire monitor or desktop. To do so:

Right-click on the VLC icon in your taskbar and then click on "Full Screen" from the menu that appears. Once in full screen mode, click on "Show all" at the top of your screen to see controls for pausing and playing videos. These controls will appear when you hover over anywhere on top of your screen while watching a video in full screen mode.
