How do I clear downloaded files in Google Chrome?

1) Open your Chrome browser and go to the Downloads tab at the top-right corner of the screen. Click on More options (three dots) next to each file name and select Remove from list. The file will be removed from your Downloads list, but will remain on your hard drive.

2) If you want to delete all downloads from your computer, click Clear all downloads on the same page as step 1 above or go to chrome://downloads/ in your address bar. This will only delete items that were downloaded through Chrome; it won't remove any Windows or Mac OS X system updates that are stored in the C:/Windows/SoftwareDistribution folder or Mac OS X Updates folders
